Salty Black Tea is Preferred

Everyday black tea is brewed in large batches and transported to the tea fields for the pluckers to drink. This happens 4-5 times a day as the pluckers prefer to get a refill every 2 hours. 
The interesting thing is that they will not drink Plain Black Tea - it has to have a Pinch of Salt. The Salt and Caffeine keeps them going and energized - it's a thing that has carried down since the British Rule.
